Single Embryo Transfers
At New Hope Fertility Center, we promote Single Embryo Transfers to reduce the health risks associated with multiple births (unless our patients request otherwise). We encourage women who have their surplus embryos (those remaining after the embryo transfer) frozen using our vitrification freezing method.
With a Conventional IVF cycle, numerous shots and medications simultaneously shut down the body’s naturally occurring fertility system and create an artificial one, forcing the ovaries to create many eggs. Our Mini-IVF™ and Natural Cycle IVF protocols allow us to learn about your body so that we can help you augment and enhance your own, naturally occurring fertility. We firmly believe that it only takes one good egg to become pregnant and have a healthy baby.
When SART (Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology) released statistics in early 2011 profiling fertility clinics around the nation, it also highlighted the fertility sector’s development as a patient-centered industry, which includes the customized care involved in SET. The percentage of people requesting SET is growing, it was 7.2% in 2009, up from 5.2% in 2008 and 0.7% in 2003. We are happy to say more and more governing organizations have joined our cause.
