Dr. Merhi joins New Hope Fertility Center as the Director of Research and Development in IVF Technologies. His research also focuses on obesity-related infertility, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Minimal Stimulation IVF (Mini IVF).
Jennifer Kulp-Makarov, MD, FACOG
Board Certified OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist (REI)
Jennifer Kulp-Makarov is board-certified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. Graduated cum laude from Tufts Univerity, she has years of experience treating women and couples with infertility.
Meir Olcha, MD, FACOG
Director of Preimplantation Embryo Assessment

He graduated cum laude from Rutgers University with a BS in biology. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2010 and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the same institution.
Zitao Liu, MD, PhD, FACOG

Dr. Liu is an accomplished physician with a deep understanding of the field of Assisted Reproductive Technology. He has received teaching awards from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Tufts University School of Medicine.
Lana Lipkin, MD, FACOG
Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist (ABOG)
Dr. Lana Lipkin has a focus on female infertility in particular Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), hysteroscopy, and laparoscopy procedures. She also specializes in Family Balancing to ensure each couple has the family of their dreams.
Samuel Wong, MD

Dr. Samuel Wong has a unique understanding of the IVF process and believes in individualized care. He has been in the medical field for over 20 years specializing in female reproductive healthcare as a board-certified OB/GYN.
Marilena Cooperman, MD, MS
Director of Reproductive Surgery
Dr. Marilena Cooperman is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
Serin Seckin, MD
Board Certified OB/GYN
Dr. Serin I. Seckin joined the New Hope Fertility Center fellowship program in July 2020. She graduated with Honors from Brown University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University where she graduated with a scholarly concentration in Translational Research. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Mount Sinai-Mount Sinai West and St. Luke’s where she received multiple teaching awards. During her residency, she presented several posters and oral presentations at the annual American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists (AAGL).
Her clinical and research interests include ovarian aging, non-invasive preimplantation genetic diagnosis, fertility preservation in cancer patients, and the impact of endometriosis on fertility.
