WHNP-BC, Mariya Shimonov is a board-certified nurse practitioner, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her BSN degree from SUNY Downstate University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She began her career in women’s health at Elmhurst Hospital and after a few years, attended and graduated from Frontier Nursing University with honors, specializing in women’s health.

Mariya has devoted her career to women’s health. Her extensive experience has provided her with the unique ability to customize care to her respective patients of all backgrounds, and cultures. Her commitment to her patients, her determination to learn the newest technology, and her impressive background help ensure that her patients consistently receive the highest quality of healthcare.

Mariya joined the New Hope Fertility Center desiring to help patients overcome infertility. With a degree specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Mariya is equipped with the knowledge and experience necessary to guide women on their journey to pregnancy. Mariya believes it is vital to educate her patients about the process, keeping them fully informed, and making them feel supported.
