Dr. John Zhang just returned from a trip to Guangdong, China where he and Dr. Sherman Silber operated to achieve the first successful ovarian tissue transplant done in China. The success was very encouraging and both women (the donor and the recipient) recovered astonishingly fast. This medical feat was just one more way that our doctors continue to push the boundaries of modern medicine and the fertility care field.
