IVF Clinical Trial at New Hope Clinic

IVF Clinical Trial

New Hope Fertility Center, in cooperation with the Center for Reproductive Medicine at the University of Amsterdam, is conducting a research study comparing different IVF protocols. The study has been approved and supervised by the Human Research Review commitee of New York Downtown Hospital. It is the first IVF clinical trial to offer patients assisted reproduction treatment with cost included: all medical consulting, blood tests, ultrasound monitoring, IVF procedures and IVF-related medications will be covered by the study. The researchers involved in this study hope to attract a broad representation of infertile patients and couples.

The trial is designed to compare conventional-stimulation and minimal-stimulation IVF protocols in terms of pregnancy rates and treatment costs. Additionally, the study will seek to determine which of the two methods is more patient-friendly by comparing the psychological impact of these two types of IVF treatments, as well as the side effects of medications required by the respective protocols. Ultimately, the researchers will use these findings to determine which of these methods should be applied routinely to all IVF patients.

We are looking for women between the ages of 18 and 38 years, who have had difficulties trying to conceive for at least 12 months and desire to undergo their first IVF attempt by participating in this IVF Research Study.

No new drugs or experimental procedures will be used in this trial. All of the drugs are FDA approved and the treatment protocol and procedures are already routinely used in IVF clinics worldwide.
