In Vitro Oocyte Maturation (IVM) permits us to use eggs for IVF procedures that may not have been as mature as we would have hoped for when they were retrieved. IVM is a delicate process but is very helpful in some cases, when eggs are released and retrieved even though they may not have fully matured inside a woman's ovaries during her menstrual cycle. The eggs are placed in a maturation medium in our labs and carefully monitored and cultured to ensure that they are able to keep developing outside the body. While it is not a guarantee that all eggs will mature enough to use for IVF, IVM increases a woman's chance for being able to use some of her eggs.
Indeed, we work very hard to maximize each woman's chances of having a successful pregnancy and will work with each individual to ensure that we give the kind of care and nurturing to explore every possibility. We know that everybody and every body is different and that everyone brings a unique history and set of circumstances with them. We want to ensure that regardless of history or circumstance, you recieve the kind of care that gives you the higheset possibility.
