After the donor undergoes retrieval, we freeze her oocytes using vitrification, a technique that allows us to maintain the quality of the eggs with a thaw rate that is 98 to 99 percent.

Successful cycles at New Hope Fertility Center with frozen donor cycles are comparable to fresh cycles. Almost all donor recipients are using our Frozen Egg Bank. If the patient prefers, we are able to do a fresh cycle, but it may involve a longer waiting period and more medication.
