Yearly Tests

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP)
  • Hepatitis B surface antigen
  • Hepatitis C antibodies
  • Hepatic Function Panel
  • HIV 1 & 2
  • Prolactin
  • TSH
  • PT
  • PTT
  • RPR (Syphillis)
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Blood Type + RH Type
  • Pap Smear
  • Chlamydia/ Gonorrhea culture
  • Mammogram and Breast Exam
  • HSG/Saline sonogram/Hysteroscopy (every 3-5 years)

For Patients 43+

  • Medical Clearance

  • EKG/Cardiac Stress Test (for ages 45 and above)

For Patient Partner (yearly)

  • Semen Analysis
  • HIV
  • Hep Bs Ag
  • Hep C AB
  • RPR
  • Blood Type + RH Type

We also recommend that donor recipients and their partners undergo a psychological evaluation. Genetic screening is also suggested for the male partner in order to rule out any abnormalities.
