COSTS & INSURANCE
What is the Cost of IVF?
As you know, our goal from the time you enter our fertility center to the hopeful day you bring your precious new baby home, is to ensure this will be a gentle, stress-free, and ultimately joyous experience for you. Minimizing financial stress is also a big part of our ongoing gentle IVF commitment. That is why we've decided to accept most insurance plans, making our fertility care more accessible to all, and we will even file your insurance claims to eliminate this administrative burden for you. In addition, because the Natural Cycle IVF & Mini-IVFTM treatments are less invasive and use less medication, its overall cost is normally 30-40% less than the Conventional IVF procedure. See our treatment fees below.
Any fees not covered by insurance are due in full prior to consultation and treatment. We accept cash, money orders, and most major credit cards.
Infertility Insurance
The only surprise you want to hear during your fertility care is "you're pregnant". We will do all the necessary research with your insurance provider before you begin treatment so you will not be surprised mid or post treatment that all or part of your treatment was not covered. And, as a courtesy we will obtain all pre-authorizations required if any, and file all in-network claims paperwork for you. See insurances we accept below.
Prior to your initial consultation we will contact your insurance provider to get a comprehensive understanding of your fertility coverage then discuss this with you. If you decide to proceed, we will also obtain all pre-authorizations required & file all in-network claims paperwork for you. You will not be required to pay anything other than for treatments not covered by your insurance, co-pays, out-of-network charges, and deductibles.
You should also know that some states require by law that insurance providers cover fertility care, but each state's requirements are unique. Insurance plans written in NY are mandated by law to provide coverage for infertility treatment and diagnosis, however, IVF is excluded from the mandate. In NJ & CT, state law mandates that insurance companies pay for expenses related to the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, in vitro fertilization, and fertility drugs. These laws vary by state; visit the American Society of Reproductive Medicine's (ASRM) website for more detail.
